A Seat On A Bus

Martin Luther King, Jr., and other leaders in the early days of the civil rights movement reminisce about the bus boycott in Montgomery, Alabama. This is a dramatization of the events surrounding Rosa Parks' arrest on December 1, 1955, and the subsequent Montgomery Bus Boycott. It features four characters: Rosa Parks, E.D. Nixon, Martin Luther King Jr., and Ralph Abernathy. The play is set in Montgomery, Alabama, and is a powerful account of the historic events that led to the boycott and the beginning of the civil rights movement. It highlights the struggles and sacrifices made by the black community and their leaders in the fight for equality and justice.
