Jack works at an ordinary supermarket, Tick Tock Shop. It’s like time has been standing still there since 1997. You can find two kinds of chips on the shelves and they only accept cash. Helping customers is important, but very time-consuming, which causes everything and everybody moves a little slow. But thanks to Jack, a star employee who seems to be able to handle everything, things are getting done on time.

But Jack has a secret: if he removes the old clock from the wall, time will literally stand still. This way, he can catch up on everything that needs to get done. He tells his secret to Fay, a close friend who works for a local newspaper, and she promises to keep his secret. 

One day, to everyone’s surprise, Tick Tock Shop gets nominated for ‘Supermarket of The Year’. It was a prank by a bunch of young kids, who secretly camped in the supermarket one night, but the staff take the nomination seriously. They are startled and confused, and they don't know how to respond. They don’t think they are cool enough to win, but they decide to go all-in and give it their best shot.

One of the criteria to be selected as the winner is to get a positive review by a Mystery Shopper. But when the Mystery Shopper arrives, he gets no personal attention from the staff and finds limited products on the shelves, so he writes a negative review. Oh no! Jack can’t let this happen. Jack decides to freeze time and, without anyone noticing it, rewrites the report.

Thanks to the positive review, they make it to the finals and win a total makeover. Wow! Again, the staff is surprised. The makeover starts, but during the makeover, they decide to remove the old clock! Jack is in shock, because now he has no way to freeze time!

And the winner is… Tick Tock Shop! But that same day the Mystery Shopper reveals the truth about the false review report, and Jack has to admit he rewrote it. Fay backs him up. He knew they were never able to win anyway, despite the fact that this supermarket is a great one. Loyal customers like this supermarket because it’s so ordinary and common. The jury is convinced, changes their minds and lets Tick Tock Shop win first prize anyway.

When Ordinary Mart is nominated for a make-over and Jack's clock is removed ... can Ordinary Mart survive?
