Twisted Plays Welcomes GIA Publications to Its Growing Family

MORRIS, Minn. — September 18, 2026 — Twisted Plays is proud to welcome GIA Publications, Inc. to its growing family of theatrical publishers and educational partners. Musicals and music-education resources from GIA’s extensive catalog will soon be available through the Twisted Plays catalog.

Founded in 1941, GIA is a family-owned publisher offering more than 10,000 choral and instrumental editions, along with respected educational materials, recordings, hymnals, and performance resources. Its family of publishers includes Walton Music, Meredith Music, and World Library Publications.

The announcement comes during another exciting period of growth for GIA. Beginning October 1, 2026, GIA will also print and distribute Music Theatre International’s Broadway Junior® ShowKits® to music dealers and select kindergarten-through-ninth-grade schools. Broadway Junior musicals are condensed, author-approved adaptations of classic Broadway shows, Disney favorites, DreamWorks titles, and contemporary works created specifically for young performers.
