The Bethlehem Chronicle newspaper is in big trouble! If subscriptions don't increase, the paper will be shut down forever. Now it's up to Scoop Early, Sally O'Callahan and Rock Gibraltar as they search for the biggest news in Bethlehem to help save the paper. Add a heavenly host of angels and shepherds and you've got a miracle at just the right time!

• NEWSBOYS: Energetic and enthusiastic, can be boys and/or girls.
• MR. WEATHERS: Fast-talking, high energy Chief Editor.
• SALLY O'CALLAHAN: Pretentious, ditsy social reporter.
• SCOOP EARLY: Earnest and honest cub reporter and part-time shepherd.
• ROCK GIBRALTAR: Egocentric and grandious sports reporter.
• SHEPHERDS (2-3): Lines can be divided or combined to have more or less.
• SHEEP: Two or many more. Can include younger children.
• KINGS (3): Cool and hip.
• INNKEEPER: A businessman with a heart. Has only a few lines.
• MARY and JOSEPH: Optional (non-speaking) roles
