Running at a brisk 75 minutes, Ink & Paint is a vibrant and powerful tribute to female creativity. With its unique blend of historical fact and musical storytelling, this show will have you cheering for these unsung heroes and their lasting impact on the world we know.

About: This colorful new musical follows five women artists at Walt Disney Studios in the 1930s and beyond, whose ranks included first- and second-generation immigrants from the UK and Asia, a single mother, a record-breaking pilot, an architect, and more. At first relegated to a department informally known as the “the Nunnery,” in this musical "group monologue," they share their experiences working in a male-dominated industry in the shadow of global conflict and labor uprising. In the process, they paint a picture of the impact their art had on groundbreaking films like Snow White, Fantasia and Cinderella, which constituted an indelible creative influence on what has become the largest entertainment company in the world—one for which they were seldom recognized.
