Welcome to Berk, a rugged Viking village where battling dragons is practically a way of life. For generations, Vikings have been taught that dragons are dangerous enemies, and no one believes that more strongly than the village's fearless warriors.

But Hiccup isn't exactly your typical Viking.

While everyone else is determined to fight dragons, Hiccup discovers something extraordinary when he encounters a mysterious Night Fury dragon. Rather than destroying his supposed enemy, Hiccup chooses compassion and names his unlikely new friend Toothless.

As their friendship grows, Hiccup begins to question everything his village believes about dragons. With courage, determination, and a little help from his friends, he must find a way to challenge centuries of tradition and prove that understanding one another is far more powerful than fighting.
